Integrated Recovery Programme

Tabor Group offers a 12-week Integrated Recovery Programme designed to meet the needs of people with more complex addiction challenges. This programme is structured to provide comprehensive, long-term support for both men and women who may have trauma histories and be dealing with issues such as poly or cross-addiction, previous treatment and relapse, and facing challenges in coping with life circumstances and living skills.

Our Integrated Recovery Programme is tailored to meet the specific needs of each person, providing them with tools, guidance, and support necessary for long-lasting recovery.

Our Integrated Recovery Programme is divided into two key phases, with a third optional phase:

Phase 1: Safety and Stabilisation (Tabor Lodge)

The first phase of the programme takes place at Tabor Lodge, where the focus is on addressing the complex needs of each person. This phase is centred around providing a safe and stabilising environment, supporting each person to regain control and develop the personal foundations for recovery. During this phase, people are supported through:
  • Therapeutic interventions that address both addiction and any underlying trauma or emotional difficulties.
  • Group therapy and individual counselling sessions to promote self-awareness, emotional regulation, and peer support.
  • Stabilisation techniques to help people manage cravings, anxiety and other symptoms related to early recovery.

Phase 2: Personal Responsibility and Skill Development (Tabor Fellowship)

In Phase 2, people transition to Tabor Fellowship, where they are encouraged to take on more personal responsibility while continuing to work on their recovery. The focus shifts toward helping people develop essential skills for managing their addiction and reintegrating into everyday life. This phase includes:
  • Practical living skills training, such as managing finances, maintaining a routine, and improving interpersonal relationships.
  • Ongoing relapse prevention strategies and techniques to build resilience.
  • Continued counselling and support to ensure people are equipped to face the challenges of life beyond treatment.

Phase 3: Recovery Living (Optional 12-week Extension)

For people who need additional support after completing the first two phases, Tabor Group offers an optional third phase of support. This 12-week ‘Recovery Living Programme’ takes place in our three community-based recovery homes, providing a transitional environment where people can further solidify their recovery while gradually reengaging with and re-entering daily life. Here, people continue to build their independence while receiving support from both peers and professionals.

Our Integrated Recovery Programme is tailored to meet the specific needs of each person, ensuring that they have the tools, guidance, and support necessary to achieve long-lasting recovery.
